The poor Black youth was armed with a bag of Skittles against a 9mm pistol. Zimmerman caused the altercation and tried to illegally detain him. Trayvon was guilty of trying to go home and Zimmerman killed him for that. How is that justified??? YOU seem to be missing the facts!!!

Fact - if Zimmerman didn't have a gun then Trayvon would still be alive. You can easily cause permanent death with a gun. None of this would have happened if GZ just stayed in his vehicle as ordered. But he pursued with a gun and caused the fight. Trayvon had some candy on him. Zimmy had a loaded gun and was NW, not any PD Officer. Trayvon was murdered. Fact.

New story -- accd to a witness, Travyon actually attacked GZ. And my point here is that if you attack and threaten to cause serious bodily harm to someone then you might get shot in self defense, so don't give me this "are you fair game to be killed just because you were suspended from school" crap. And who knows just how innocent Travyon is, anyhow? You don't have any facts to support whether he is innocent or guilty. The person who does, namely the prosecutor handling the case, says it will be a very difficult case to win. So again, why are you all talking about this case as if it is cut and dried. Do you all know something the prosecutor doesn't?

Nice spin, but no way. Zim is the pursuer and aggressor with a gun. A witness for the family says that Tray called her and said that someone was pursuing HIM. He was scared and so would anyone. Your witness remains Anonymous and said he saw the end of the fight- so how can you know who started it and who hit who or grabbed who first? Zim stated that he pursued and questioned him, which he had no authority to do as some Neighborhood watch thug with a gun. And that Help call has been claimed by family and a witness as Tray's not Zim's! Also the racial slur on CNN was 3-syllable F'n coon, not punk- 1 syllable. So Call, follow your own advice- do YOU know something? Were YOU there? No way! Tray was killed in cold blood, the Sheriff resigned over incompetence in the investigation, and Zim is in hiding. He had the gun, so he can claim anything. But at the trial all that counts is that the dispatcher told him not to pursue and he did. Zim caused that fight or whatever scuffle and ultimately- Tray's death. The boy was young and 140 lbs being pursued by an armed man playing wannabe cop. He's now in hiding and the Black Panthers as well as his family are justified in calling for his immediate arrest for murder.

Fact Again: If Zimmerman doesn't have a gun then Trayvin is still alive. Reality Check Again: A wannabe cop with a loaded gun stalks an INNOCENT teenager, UNARMED, BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK and because the wanna-be cop didnt think the teen belonged in "his" neighborhood. I ask you again (crap): If you are nowhere near your home, are you fair game to be stalked and MURDERED by some wannabe cop? Unbelievable.

So all you Trayvon fans, when you see someone in your neighborhood who could be a threat, you would all run inside and lock your doors and hope for the best? I'm sorry the kid got killed, but if you are physically outclassed, you absolutely are in danger of death or permanent disability. Lethal force is completely legal and moral if it prevents your death or anothers. All of you that are making the worst assumptions about either one of these men should really wait a while until all of the facts are in.

Zimmerman was 50 lbs heavier than Trayvon. And let's clear up this myth about deadly force - you may only use deadly force if you are threatened by deadly force. If Zimmerman doesnt have a gun then Trayvon is alive today. And now the violent past of zimmerman and his arressts are coming out along with coverups by his retired judge father. He should have never been granted a permit to carry a gun. No gun, no murder of an innocent teen - end of story.

Are you aware that George Zimmerman has appeared in court on seperate cases of domestic violence against his partner & assaulting a police officer? Seems like he has a history of violence related offenses!!!

Could the reluctance to prosecute him over this shooting have anything to do with the fact that his father is retired Virginia Supreme Court Magistrate Robert Zimmerman?

Well, RJ I was going to leave this alone, but now that you've talked sh*t about how our silence somehow indicates that I have nothing to say ... This grainy video you speak, which BTW was illegally leaked to the press, proves nothing. You can't prove that the guys nose wasn't broken by this video. And noone claims there was a deep significant gash in the back of GZ's head, only that it was bleeding at the time the cops got there. I think it's also significant that the video stops when GZ goes into another room. Was there more video that actually did show clearly that GZ's nose was broken which was edited out. Seems to me they did the same thing in the Rodney King video, where they only showed the beating, but didn't show Rodney King lunging at a cop's weapon, which perfectly explains why the cops had to do what they did. And I'm banking on the fact that the same thing happened here.

I will also re-iterate that after 35 days and two weeks of intense outside pressure, the County Attorney of Seminole County still hasn't filed a charge for "MANSLAUGHTER" which is the only charge that fits. Wanna know why? Because nothing in the actual police report or witness testimony contradicts the theory that GZ acted in self defense. Some of these facts that many of you claim "Prove" that GZ is a murderer are not in the police report at all, ie. that GZ stalked and confronted Trayvon after the dispatcher told him not to. The report says he told the dispatcher he was following Trayvon and the dispatcher said that wasn't necessary. Then there was aminute of silence. There there was testimony that Trayvon attacked GZ There is nothing that indicates that GZ continued to follow Trayvon after the dispatcher said that wasn't necessary. So that "fact" is being made up. As is the insinuation that the County Prosecutor's office in Seminole County is covering up the story out of racist bias against Trayvon. Really? Lawyers, are generally much more liberal than the community at large and 49% of the voters here voted for Obama. And as for Robert Zimmerman being a former magistrate -- that is a minor judicial position that doesn't rise to the level of a judge forma; that's another red herringl

Has anyone considered that even if Trayvon attacked Zimmerman he was doing so under the "stand your ground" ruling. Surely a young black kid being followed by a larger white man with a gun felt mortally threatened.
