Song Parodies -> Lou Zer
| Original Song Title: | "Levon" |
| Original Performer: | Elton John |
| Parody Song Title: | "Lou Zer" |
| Parody Written by: | Andria |
This parody is about a fictional big-city stockbroker with an unfortunate name, whose equally oddly-named policeman son rats him out after attempting a Ponzi scheme. He ends up as Bernard Madoff's cellmate in federal prison, and living up to his name.
Lou Zer wears his last name with a frown
He calls his child Wow Zer
Since he likes the name
He enrolled him in the best prep school in town
Lou Zer, he makes boo-koo money
He makes millions, they say
Rides to work, chauffeured
In a Maybach, on the motorway
He was born a pauper to a bum on a Saturday
In the toughest times, when FDR
Was our president
Mr. Boo Zer had a son that day
And he shall be Lou Zer
And he shall be a good man
And he shan’t be a boozer
Up and out with the family plan
And he shall be Lou Zer
And he shall be a rich man
His name is Lou Zer
Lou Zer sells funds and stocks in town
His global business thrives
Wow Zer works as a cop all day
With gun and handcuffs, arrestin’ bad guys
And Lou Zer, he acts just like a crim'nal
Swindlin’ people left and right
Do a Ponzi, and get arrested
And Lou Zer, he’s sentenced to life
He was born a pauper to a bum on a Saturday
In the toughest times, when FDR
Was our president
Bernie Madoff has a new cellmate
And he shall be Lou Zer
And he’s not a good man
He really is a loser
‘Cause he pulled off a Ponzi scheme
And his name is Lou Zer
And that name he de-serves
He shall be Lou Zer
And his son’s name is Wow Zer
And he busted his old dad
‘Cause he pulled off a Ponzi scheme
And Wow’s dad is a loser
And that name he de-serves
His name is Lou Zer
He calls his child Wow Zer
Since he likes the name
He enrolled him in the best prep school in town
Lou Zer, he makes boo-koo money
He makes millions, they say
Rides to work, chauffeured

Another Lou Zer "Madoff" with billions of dollars in the Ponzi scheme! The last guy I went out with had inherited huge amounts of money from his grandmother but it wasn't the case at all. It turned out he earned that money illegally. Turned out he's been poor his whole life and him and his sister were forced to live in the streets since their parents abandoned them. They were always hungry. Anyways, this is one $555 million dollar parody you wrote! :)
Thanks, Christie Marie. You are always appreciated, whether commenting and voting on my parodies, or making me crack up on someone else's parody.
A Win Ner
Thanks, SOTM, and lol at your Com Ment. Does this mean I am in the running for Song of the Month?
lou-zer is a win-ner...got a lot of laughs from this
Very creative job on this, Andria. Goes well with my "Madoff You Loser" parody.
555 years!!!
Great stuff Andria, 555 proof Southern Comfort for the Lou Zer smoozer boozer.
I echo all the above comments...good name
Thanks Alvin, lol, thanks Mark, thanks Jim, and thanks to AFW.
Andria - I like this. It tells the story about how this Bernie guy "made off" with billions. I always like the justice when a bad guy goes down. Who's next? Drew Peterson? I'm investing my hard earned 3 fives on this one.
Thanks, Guy. I might do a Drew Peterson parody soon, maybe based on "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen.
Andria - Ha - sounds like Drew and Slick Willy like the same kind of women based on the OS title by Queen. I'll watch for it although I sometimes go a few weeks without checking the site. If you write it, I hope I catch it.
Thanks again, Guy. As one of my main influences on AmIRight in terms of parody-writing, your comments mean a lot to me, and as for the Drew Peterson-themed parody of "Fat Bottomed Girls", I'm working on it slowly and a little at a time since I want it to be good and since I have been helping my parents out with their gardening and cleaning up the trash left behind by the previous of my place. Happy Mothers' Day to one and all!
Typo alert on my comment above... I said just "previous" instead of "previous tenant".
Loved the title. At first glance I thought it might have had to do with one of those crank calls to Moe's, but I thought this was creative anyway. DKTOS very well, but I choose to vote 5-5-5 anyway.
Thank you, A. Person.
