The Lyrics

It's getting time, as it's almost nine
A comedian with lots of fans
George's hands get checks, and Kramer takes a trek
With a mail truck full of cans

Most of 'em are smokin', but George's gal is croakin'
With some envelopes and their glue
It isn't all fine, the gang is stuck in line
For a guy who says "No soup for you"

No need to wait to get a chocolate bobka
Or even steal a marble rye
Thursday night's alright for Seinfeld
And laughing at a funny guy

Although I don't think that I'll die laughing
It will keep me up all night
Thursday night's the night I like
Thursday night's alright, alright, alright

Well, Kramer cannot dance in his new pants
A kid got scared before he got the chance
He may use a little midget guy to take his place
He may stall the kid's parents and sneak out to give chase

The Japanese guys all stay in drawers
While George goes reading in the john of a bookstore
He's an expert at lying, he ain't no true man
Whose best friend fortunately ain't called Newman

Don't try to make change for a hundred dollars
No need to have a lot of cash
Thursday night's alright for Seinfeld
And eating eclairs from the trash

It's alright to get a few gyros
If their sauce falls on a TV Guide
Thursday night's the night I like
Thursday night's alright, alright, alright

Don't need to eat any of that fatty yogurt
Even though its owner says there's none
Thursday night's alright for Seinfeld
It's a shame the show is done

The light from the chicken restaurant
Well, it's really way too bright
Thursday night's the night I like
Thursday night's alright, alright, alright

You could have fixed your scan problem by making "Thurs-day night IS ---all right" match Sat-ur-day night's --all right. If you're going to use genius in your name, gotta pay attention to details. (See: Al Yankivic "This Song's Just Six Words Long")

Seinfeld's OK, but he's no Tim Sample.

"Seinfeld, four?" No, five! You even snuck in "Life On the Red Planet"! I'm quite impressed. Now, about this Tim guy... could you give us a sample of his work?
