Parody Song Title:

"You’ll Make Me Reel"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

One of my parodies of the 11 songs on the "Morrison Hotel" album.
I really want to, really do;
got a creel that’s waiting here at the slough.
But I can’t reel too well, and I’m blue.
So, I count on you
to make me reel,
to make me reel like anglers reel.
You’ll make me throw the line and then crank eagerly,
eagerly and rapidly.

I really want you, really do,
to make me crank-crazy, reel guru.
But I can’t reel in chub without you,
so, give me a clue!
Please make me reel;
only you have real reel zeal.
I’ll let the fly go, get a bite, then hopefully,
I’ll reel catch in skillfully.

You’ll make me reel.
I’ll fill the creel after I’ve reeled.
You’ll make me stow the whines and then crank eagerly,
eagerly and skillfully,
I’ll rule the reel!
