Parody Song Title:

"Low Jeans"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
So where the heck did that idea come from?
Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
Look, sonny, I don't need to see your bum

When I was young, we looked askance
At showing off your underpants
Displaying that much butt-crack was obscene
But nowadays, kids think it's fine
Is it because they're Calvin Klein
Designer labels now on view, low jeans

Is underwear proudly displayed
To show off just how much they've paid
For jockeys, boxers seen 'cause of low jeans
Expensively-wrapped teenage tush'll
Not be hid under a bushel
But still don't mean we need to see low jeans

Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
I'm begging of you, lift 'em if you can
Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
Please pull 'em up and grow up, be a man

I'm gonna try to make you see
Just how inane it looks to me
Yes, you look more than stupid in low jeans
Must I tell you more than once?
Don't show the back of your Y-fronts
Ain't big and it ain't clever in low jeans

Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
Im begging someone, institute a ban
Low jeans, low jeans, low jeans, low jeans
Please pull 'em up now: prove to me you can
Low jeans, low jeans

Well put, Phil, particularly the "tush'll/bushel" and "once/Y-fronts" rhymes. If someone your age has an issue with low jeans, imagine what someone my age thinks of them.

I liked this a lot Phil, so 555! I should do one about jeans, but from another angle. Since I live in Cali, the low baggy jeans that show off guys' boxers is common with Black youth. Hispanic youth usually has either loose baggy or really tight jeans mixed with either long sleeve flannel in the summer time, or Raider gear- what a combo!!! Since I grew-up in the '70s and had long blonde hair, I actually liked the old bell-bottomed jeans and sometimes wore platforms. It's unfair that women can still get away with that in the 21st century, but not dudes... unless going for that hippy Gay look (no offense intended against LGBT). I have pics of me with the Angel Flights, silk shirt, and platforms combo for the disco days of yester-year! I hate it when people my age deny ever liking disco when it was everywhere. They usually will claim that they were KISS fans and I always say, "So you liked dudes in make-up with a Japanese fetish fanbase?!" But then again, I looked like a Hanson kid growing up before they ever sang "MmmBop" in the '90s! Ah... the things we miss from youth...

There has been more than one news story about thieves in low jeans tripping over their pants as they try to run away. Fun parody, but please don't make a video. :-)

I've posted a couple of parodies on this topic "Moon Sliver" and "Pull 'Em Up". Noticed too that women no longer attempt to conceal bra straps. Haven't found a suitable OS for that story.

Forgot to give particular credit for having the concept arise from swapping the consonants that start each syllable of the original title.
