The Lyrics
ANOTHER GALE
The days grow colder now, darker nights are here to stay,
I’m wondering how I’m going to keep warm through the winter,
The heating bills rise every day.
As if that’s not enough, I worry for my plants outside,
There’s no protection from the elements we suffer far and wide.
After one, there’s another gale, every day another gale,
Though it may be good for drying, my clothes line blew away.
And I’m guessing that you’d feel the same,
That it’s climate change that we must blame,
For sure without fail, there’s one then there’s another gale.
For me, I love the sun, I like to get a healthy tan,
I’ll sit outside for hours, not bothering with a factor,
I’ll do it every day I can.
But then the winter comes, my clothes are changed to keep out cold,
And there are times I stay indoors for days on end;
That’s my story told.
After one, there’s another gale, every day another gale,
Though it may be good for drying, my clothes line blew away.
And I’m guessing that you’d feel the same,
That it’s climate change that we must blame,
For sure without fail, there’s one then there’s another gale.
