Parody Song Title:

"Forbidden Sports Love Vol 2: Louise Came to Boston"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I am aware that Dave Loggins is a cousin of Kenny Loggins, who threw a girl named Louise into some of his songs. But I needed a name that rhymed with "Please."
(instrumental opening)

Louise came to Boston for the springtime.
She stayed at the dorm of high school friends who had some room.
They headed out to Fenway to catch the Yankees
but some Red Sox fans suggested they should va-va-voom.

Louise came to Boston, she said,
"No. You're not good enough for me."

And she said,
"Hey, Southie boy, why don't you settle down.
Boston ain't my kind of town.
There ain't no gold for you coming from a girl like me.
I'm the Number 1 fan of the team from NYC."

Louise came to Boston with the snowfall.
Well, not quite all the way, just to Foxboro.
She threw a hundred bucks at the Patriot Place mall
but when Patriot fans hit on her, she said, "Whoa!"

Louise came to Boston, she said,
"No. Boy, you're not good enough for me."

And she said,
"Hey, Quincy boy, why don't you settle down.
Boston ain't my kind of town.
There ain't no gold for you coming from a girl like me.
I'm the Number 1 fan of the team from NYC."

(instrumental break)

Now, a sports fan's world goes 'round and 'round
and I doubt if it's ever gonna stop.
But of all the games that are lost and won
New England took or flopped
she still needs to click with
someone to watch the Knicks with.

Louise stayed in New York until new season.
The Massachusetts boys came down Interstate 95.
They came in a car, a '75 Gremlin.
And if they're lucky it won't get smashed and they'll get out alive.

Louise stayed in New York and told them,
"No! Boys, you're not good enough for me!"

And she said,
"Hey, Charlestown boys, why don't you settle down.
Boston won't be my kind of town.
There ain't no gold for you coming from a girl like me!
No, no.
I'm the Number 1 fan of the teams from NYC."

She's the Number 1 fan of the teams from NYC!
