The Lyrics

Getting so close now; in just two days, 'twill come
Fiddlegirl and TT's fine foray, yay!
Struck with wonder; you'll be reeling, RFL
As we're gracin' AIR with our minds' display

Such inspiration! Your invitation --
-- Tomorrow at 8 [1]
A great revelation!

Sure, I sell you some sleazy appeal, a time or two
And I write of farms, spiel, expound, me
FG, she coerced TT to keep things light
With nudgin', winkin', to tout how right our write might be

Our new creation: your admiration!
So, please don't be late!
Watch two minds a-matin'!

So on Wednesday, a write, hot, done together
Not for profit, but to brighten up your days
She and I: hope, see: so many Fives somehow
Be there or square, not a-far, as curtain, raise!

(Be there for curtain raise)
Just be right here; we'll lift you from your malaise
(We hope our effort pays)
(Please, fair-ly, folks, appraise)
(Give us a goodly gaze)
(Wednesday's ... our day on dais)

Getting closer and closer!

Fave lines: "to tout how right our write might be", and the "late/a-matin' " couplet combined with the "minds a-matin" alliteration. Sizzle!!! :D

Nice promo parody - din't even have to change the title. It's also kind of a puzzle to try and guess what the project will be. 5's for this one; waiting patiently.

It's true! It's true! The World (of parody) *is* transported through the universe on the back of a Turtle (with a smart n' sassy feminine stringed instrument thingy betwixt his 'broad' fetlocks)!
Just two more days til all's revealed? (pant, pant!)
BTW: Do you actually get to rest on the seventh day (or is that 'stanza')?

Fiddlegirl: (heh heh!) ;)

Timmy1000: Thanks. Not much longer!

TJC: It's turtles all the way down!

Rest? More like the thirtieth day. Not sure exactly, but I think this project started about a month ago. No rest for the weary since then -- definite R&R time afterward!

AFW: Thanks!

Hmm, maybe I should start a promo campaign for my longer parodies. ;-)

Anticipation is an understatement at this point. Oh, a good parody too. :-D

blackjack21: Glad you're looking forward to it! ... has TT created a new genre -- the "promo parody"? Thanks for v/c! See ya there!
