I walked into that dark place, and with anxiety I was fraught;
I’m sure my blood pressure was extremely high;
my temperature was hot.
In fact, I was filled with terror, even though I’d get a shot.
I sat and dreamed that I’d be a departer,
a fast departer, but…

I’m in pain,
’cause I’ve got a seriously sore tooth.
So much pained (so pained!)
And besides that I am a wimp forsooth…

I should have come here years ago, when I first orally grieved,
but I was too much afraid of repair;
now my grief must be relieved.
Because pain had become much too much,
desperation hit me.
Now I have need for a crown…

they’re gonna have to get in and bore tooth

Well, my fears notched up to near-Golgotha
heights, where knocked off was the Son.
I hate dental tools more than just a skosh, an’
this procedure will eclipse all my fun.

Though I gotta be here, still I whine.
Give me the shot, the nasty needle apply.
I will cry till it kicks in; then begins fixin’; that
lidocaine is merely a part of what I need to soothe
searing pain (such pain!)
Give me diazepam so I won’t loose
my cool; I’ll drool…mind tool.
Lidocaine, mind-cloak gained.
