The Lyrics

We can never know about what Lee’ll have done;
the guy is unpredictable that way.
But there’s one thing we can certainly avow:
We’re surprised by nothing he’ll do or say.

Transfiguration is shaping his faith
and making him changie.

We could tell, and how, that a revelation was due.
And what a sight he was last Sunday;
he gave off a glow that was halo-bright;
it appeared that Lee’d been having himself a fun day.

Transfiguration, transfiguration
was changing his shape
by making him lady.

He’s ravishing, wrapped in feather regalia,
in which he scoffs at what might be termed “nature’s ways.”
But we can see that he ain’t seized on “hausfrau”
at what will be his Teutonic sobriquet
that wouldn’t be a euphonic sobriquet.
Lee needs a sobriquet,
nothing that’s sober-gray
Leigh, the new sobriquet?
