The Lyrics

I saw him standin' there in the pukka pie store
I knew he must have been about twenty-four
The pies they smelt so cool
And soon I started to drool
An' I could tell it wouldn't be long
'Til they would be baked, yeah baked, singin'

I love pukka pie
So put another pie in the oven, baby
I love pukka pie
So come an' take a slice an' dance with me

He smiled so I got up and' asked for a slice
I'll get ya a fresh one, he said,
Which was really nice
Then he said can I take you home where we can be alone

An' next we were munchin' pie
He was with me, yeah me

Next we were munchin' pie
He was with me, yeah me, singin'

I love pukka pie
So put another slice onto my plate, baby
I love pukka pie
So come an' take a pie an' dance with me

An we'll be side by side
An' bakin' those good old pies
Yeah with me, singin'

I love pukka pie
So put another pie in the oven, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take a pie an' dance with me

Speaking as a Decade Police Officer, I will have you know that Britney's version (if there really is one) would have been released in the 2000's, since Britney wasn't even born until the 80's. Speaking as Myself, I will say that this parody wasn't too bad.

My dad seems to remember Joan Jett doing it. At least, I think it was her.

Yes, it was me. And my version was done in the eighties. Britney did indeed record a cover version in the 00s. I didn't like it, but... that's life.
