The Premiers (equivalent to our Governors) of Canada's 10 Provinces are meeting with new Prime Minister Stephen Harper at the PM's official residence at 24 Sussex Drive in Ottawa. They all want something from him, particularly his fellow Conservatives, who got frozen out by Jean Chretien and Paul Martin for 12 years, the poor babies. He hasn't been in office long enough to develop much of a record to judge him on yet, but at this rate, Harper's gonna end up feeling like early-Twenties U.S. President Warren Harding: "I can handle my enemies, but, oh, my friends! Lord save me from my damn friends!"
