Song Parodies -> "Never Green"

Original Song Title:

"Evergreen"

Original Performer:

Barbra Streisand

Parody Song Title:

"Never Green"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

Yard, bare as a lion's lair
Yard, only a few sprouts there
Just air, and the dog's piled poo
Street disgrace, it's true..

Thankful I'm - for falling April snow
With a welcome cover, don't you know
The landscape is never green,
Never seen, Spring's hue

Sod plant tries, find quick demise, I'm cursed
It's a Charlie Sheen winning..
If they held a contest for yard of worst,
That prize they'd apply us
'Cause we have the dryest..lawn....

Ugly as Satan's son
On it, even stray cats won't run
Nothing roots and grows above
Unfit for the droppings of a dove
Grass-less and never, never..green

AFW - Indeed. I had the same problem until I realized that the landscapers laid the sod upside down. ;D

You'll note that turtles, being poikilothermic ("cold-blooded"), prefer warm waters and climates, which are indeed green all year round - so, which is the "intelligent" species, huh? :-D

Kidding! 555, and I'd best keep movin' a lawn....

Try growing your grass hydroponically.
AFW - February 05, 2012 - Report this comment
Thanks, Andy...what does that mean..under water?
Andy Primus - February 05, 2012 - Report this comment
The plants are grown in troughs of water (no soil) with nutrients added - usually for a different type of grass than the lawn variety.
