my clock alarm rings...that tone loudly blares
i'm dreamin' of things that, by golly, scares
i'm bawlin' in shame...from my shock and my fear
it gets way crazy, when i sleep, it appears

i fret from trauma...like my brain has been bent
and my tension has grown and my patience is spent
when i take a snooze...then bad dreams transpire
and i wake up spooky when my skin all perspired

i rolled like a hound...as my doze was marred
the boogie man has shook me just a little too hard
appalling cruel things with their ghoulish eyes
it must be zombies...cause these people have died
yes, they did

i put up a front...but i'm scared for my ass
i shake and i quake...and i hope it will pass
these demons are something i don't understand
cause i jump and moan...and its gettin' out of hand
