Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

When I woke up this morning
It was on my hind
A bulge was on my hind
It's a bubble, whoa-oh
Got me worried, uh-oh
I hope it's benign

So I went to the doctor
At my HMO
Yeah, told me where to go
They all bumbled, whoa-oh
They all hurried, uh-oh
Got misdiagnosed

When I went in for treatment
Still on my behind and
They went in there blind
I had bungled bung ow-ow
That they screwed up
I got scars behind

And I got a feelin'
I'm gonna sue-ue-ue-ue, yes
That's what I will do
Yeah, I got a lawyer, oh-oh
I got a court date, whoa-oh
Now it is messed up where I pooooo

When I woke up this morning
I rang for the maid
I had just been paid
I got servants, oh-ho
I got new house, oh-ho
From that wound behind

Rick, nice job with this one...also provided a stroll down memory lane...The We Five - mid-60's, I believe. My brother actually had the ALBUM this cut was on...pretty ordinary except for this song...nice harmonies, though...5's

Hi Paul, where you been? I bought that same album at a Placerville weird old record store, and I agree, this was the best song.

Rick - Well, I was really busy and wrapped up in my job this Tax Season. As it wound into the frantic final stages I figured I would "slow down" and only write a few pieces for a while...and ended up deciding I just needed a complete break for a while. I've been working on trying to improve my singing, too...with a fair amount of progress I believe...working mostly with OS stuff I was really familiar with and not trying to sub parody lyrics in...that really takes a lot of focus when you've got the original track playing...anyway, I ended up taking a total break from the site and I'm just now starting to dip my toes back into the water again. I had a couple ideas for some new parodies last night...the first usable ideas I've had for any in about a month or more...when I stopped I had been working on stretching out my OS song base to work from...now I think I'm going to go back to my basic "roots" for a spell...which means maybe a couple little CSN numbers soon...OH...do you still do the "Open Mic" night thing at Espresso Gardens? Now that we are in the "Off-Season" mode here I'm working reduced hours for a while and also can take some time off if I want, so I was thinking of maybe trekking up North for maybe a week and making a stopover in San Jose on my way up (and perhaps on my way back, too). I'd love to check you and Mari out at the 'Gardens again and maybe do a number or two myself while there.

Always here if you need us. We are going to Seattle in June to see someplace new, but we'll be around. I've been performing Joni Mitchell songs with a mom/daughter team. We've done most of the "Blue" album.

Rick -- Doing stuff from "Blue", eh? Fantastic! I will be doing my annual house-sitting for a friend from June 10 until July 10, so June would not be in my travel plans anyway. I'm probably looking at sometime shortly after that or perhaps early August. I have to take my vacat ions before our Company starts training next year's seasonal staff, which starts in November...and since I will be preparing some of that training that probably takes the last couple weeks of October out as well. But that leaves me a lot of available time off between August and that point. I will be in touch with you and Mari via e-mail when I begin to develop some concrete plans.
