"It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Lockdown"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Our PM can't make up his mind! He bungles from one crisis to another!

It's beginning to look a lot like lockdown,
Everywhere you go.
With so much of us in tier four, and soon there'll be many more,
And all because the numbers grow and grow.

It's beginning to look a lot like lockdown,
Need to stay indoor.
And although you would like to be with your wider family,
It's against the law.

And if you planned Christmas Day in a wonderful way
Then you had to change your ideas.
Your hopes and your schemes ended up as just dreams,
And the children were all in tears.
And even when the lockdown ends, we'll still end up in tiers.

It's beginning to look a lot like lockdown,
Will it be worthwhile?
If the number of cases fall, then we won't complain at all
And perhaps we'll smile.

Though it's lockdown, just smile!
