Rootin’ on a Sunday afternoon
for my team, sittin’ in livin’ room.
Stadium climate could be better,
game played in inclement weather.
Glad I’m watching it on TV, instead of
movin’ to keep warm when thunder booms;
loomin’ just ahead is a monsoon.

Again, I’m glad I’m watching on TV;
in that weather I might just catch TB.
Beating on unhappy people is sleet; some
douchebags are dressed for an afternoon
that is sunny and not tinged with doom.
Cold, cold, so cold!

Forecasters predicted a sunny day,
but they blew it in an unfunny way.
The storm is comin’ closer; folks should pray
that salvation they’ll see unhesitatingly.

Roof’s in, caved with a loud crashing boom.
Feelin’ comfy in my living room—
toes, clothes: no soak.
