The Lyrics

In this scene from the rock opera "Billy", the main character, Bill Gates, has been struck deaf, dumb, and blind by Steve Jobs' outrageous success with Apple Computer's iPod ... The president of Bill Gates' fan club leads a delegation of fans to try to help their stricken hero ... but all the fan club president can do is bemoan the sorry state of Billy Gates ...
Ever since I was a young nerd
I'd say Bill Gates was god
From M-S-DOS to Windows
I never thought him odd
But I ain't seen nothin' like this -
He's frozen an' can't be thawed!
He's deaf, dumb, and blind, kids!
Floored by ol' Steve's iPod!

He walks like a zombie
Stumbles into everything
Squealing now, he mumbles
Not saying a thing
Brays like thin mules wishin'
They had some food to gnaw
He's deaf, dumb, and blind, kids!
Floored by ol' Steve's iPod!

It's an iPod blizzard
Poor Billy had no chance
This iPod blizzard's put Bill Gates in a trance!

How do you think Steve does it?
I don't know!
What makes him so shrewd?

'gainst Gates' competition,
Got nothin' to lose at all
Made Apple's corp'rate mission,
Busting Billy's balls
Market's goin' Steve's way
Billy stands enthralled
He's deaf, dumb, and blind, kids!
Floored by ol' Steve's iPod!

Bill thought he was,
The Windows-music god
But Gates just handed his
Tunes-king-crown to Jobs!

Even on a Windows system,
Steve can beat Bill's best
iPod users plug it in,
And it just does the rest
Now Bill's stunned and numb and senseless
Feels no cattle-prod
He's deaf, dumb, and blind, kids!
Floored by ol' Steve's iPod!

555... If only you made a whole rock opera about it... Good pacing too. And not only is Ipod a trend, it's A CULT! It's a mind game, you know. There are plenty of mp3 players that are just as good, but when you say mp3 player, Ipod is the only thing that comes to mind. What is this world coming to?
