"I'll Never Put a Spell On You"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

Inspired by John Barry. Dedicated to Little Miss You Know Who.
There's an old world somewhere
they're calling Middle Earth.
And I'll be there someday
to revel in your mirth.
I will bring the Force of Jedi
to match those tricks you do
but you know I'll never put a spell on you.

There is always someone
for each of us, they say.
And those other chicks I've honored
with songs don't come my way.
I could search the whole world over
until some sense gets through
but you know I'll never put a spell on you.

It's a long, long journey
but I'll take that ride.
When I walk through the storm
I will feel fried, will feel fried!

If they gave me a fortune
you might just spend it all.
I could research Jedi mind-tricks
and next to you, stand tall.
But if I abuse your love, dear
I'd dodge each thing you threw.
So I know I'll never put a spell on you.

(instrumental break)

But if I abuse your love, dear
'twould be my Waterloo.
So you know I'll never put a spell on you.
A spell on you.
A spell on you!
But would she put a spell on me? What makes you think she already hasn't?

Dammit, Michael...your little PS stole my line! =( (I was going to say..."You mean you think you haven't already put a spell on me?")

Oh well...this is just fabulous...I love it!! And you're welcome to put a spell on me any time you'd like...as long as said spell does nothing to impede my fabulous-ness. =)

Merry...wouldn't that be a foursome? Maybe there are lines that even Mr. Pacholek won't cross...; )

yes, I thought this was going to be about John Barry, with all these tributes around, but it's yet another to Arwen - her filing cabinet must be bulging - masterfully written as always, MP - 555

Yes, Kristof, there is a lot of love, and to achieve that Arwen simply needs to show up. Merry: At the rate my love-life is going (in real life, anyway), for me, a "threesome" is me, and dish of ice cream, and the Yankees on TV. (Hey, I've loved them both longer than just about anything.) I don't know if hobbits CAN count. As for whether they DO count, I can't say, since I've never read Middle Earth's Constitution. Alvin: And she's about as expensive, too, but worth it. And, My Lady, how could I, even with all my talents, possibly impede your fabulousness? Even Superman couldn't do that, and I'm just a humble Jedi from New Jersey. Well, maybe not so humble. I guess opposites aren't what's attracting here!
