Payless isn't where I got these from.
Carnaby Street Bootery's the one.
Shoes so neon bright.
Even on the darkest night,
Heel to toe,
They glow and glow!

Good Buy - Groovy Shoes Day!
There's a half-price sale on you.
Sunshine Daisies, Emerald Paisleys,
Every style of groovy shoe.

Don't question if these fine imported shoes,
Are made in sweat shops down in Katmandu.
You may find it strange,
But they won't let you exchange,
So says the boss.
"We're below cost!"

Good Buy - Groovy Shoes Day!
Penny loafers just won't do.
Rainbow, Day-Glo, Goody Blue Shoes.
Four pairs for the price of two.

Psychedelic Mod will be passé.
The change is coming almost any day.
Fashions fade in time,
This week's shoes are from the Dandy line.
"Ain't they divine?"

Good Buy - Groovy Shoes Day,
Bell-Bottoms look good with you.
Summer '67 will fade,
Say goodbye to Groovy Shoes.

I did a search yesterday and found that the word "paisley" had never been used in a lyric. And now we both use it the same day! That's pretty cool. 5-5-5

Why aren't you getting in on the contest? We still need two more, and I don't mind losing to you.

It's mostly a time constraints thing, Rick. Sounds like fun, though. I've been busy with several projects, including building a web sub-site on The Bings, and trying to get the audio files together. And I've been thinking about doing a page with audio versions of some of my song parodies, and comedic songs.

Two paisleys in one day - who would have thunk it? That happened with one of ours once, with a very odd word - can't remember what it was now, tho'....

Wouldn't it be nice if we could re-boot our shoes? Fine parody David.
