The Lyrics

Wells Fargo or Wells Fraudo? It seems that a top exec at WF was in charge of a division that may have opened as many 2 million fraudulent accounts using customers' money without the customer knowing about it. This enabled the Bank Functionaries involved to collect bonuses and the head of the division to collect even bigger bonuses. The house of cards collapsed recently but the exec in charge of the division gets to resign... and may get to keep as much as $125,000,000 in various sorts of compensation. Wells Fargo paid out bribes ... err fines totaling $185, 000,000 but how is this exec able to keep any of her golden parachute? The CEO of Wells Fargo says nothing criminal occurred... how do you figure that? The title of this parody is actually a double parody; Wells Fargo pays out a big fine to CA and a banking Oversight Organization and if you think they will eat that loss, think again. Fees and fines will increase on those who can least afford them and so on.... garbage like this needs to be parodied!
Big Bank Shakedown

(Sung to '19th Nervous Breakdown' - The Rolling Stones)

They're the kind of people that sure do seem so full of themselves
They have their power MBA and their conscience's on a shelf.
They say 'hooray', they found a way to rip the people off!!
And earn that legal money; they are smarter than Madoff...

We need to stop, go to ground,
Here they come, here they come, here they come, here they come.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.

Let's do the math while they suffer wrath
in sixty second cuts.
We hope and pray that they will pay; if you think so then you're nuts!
You heard the jive of one eight five.. no they won't prosecute...
And you wonder why we regard dotards like this with ill repute!

You better hide, your money 'cause...,
Here they come, here they come, here they come, here they come.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.

Oh, greed's to blame, the Congress is insane.
Building these banks too big to fail,
While our savings are assailed! Oh please.

With your MBA you were set to play with a division of your own...
Raking in the luchre while around you scandal's grown...
The CEO apologized but said no crime was done...
We're thinking pathological; the lying must be fun!

Hide your money, in the ground,
Here they come, here they come, here they come, here they come.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.

Oh, we're to blame, our thinking is insane.
We embolden, enable the same old thugs,
to which money is a designer drug! Oh please.

What did we learn (or will we learn?)
as this crap flys on by?
The 5300 fired doesn't justify the lies!
This is fraud and racketeering at its most obscene!
The two at top should face R.I.C.O. if you know what I mean!

Hide your money, in your bed,
Here they come
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.
Here comes another Big Bank Shakedown.

And just reported this morning, John Stumpf, Wells Fargo's CEO, has resigned. Smart parody, CryHavoc.
