Parody Song Title:

"Out Of Rhymes"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

i don't know what's goin' on
my muse has seemed to say "so long"
she ain't been back...i think she's gone this time
i'm out of twisted fables
my output's been unstable
lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

well, lately, lately, lately....i'm out or rhymes
i said, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes
left to sort it out
out of schemes, without a doubt
yeah, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

my thoughts have seemed to run away
discovered that i'm left at bay
its no good...i'm stinkin' flat...just blank in the mind
i'm out of luck...its crazy
i've lost my pluck...i'm hazy
i said, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

well, lately, lately, lately....i'm out or rhymes
i said, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes
left to sort it out
out of schemes, without a doubt
yeah, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

i thought i was a clever bird
throwin' out my twisted words
hoped i could come back..take my place in line
but, no
my hell's complete and blazin'
my lack of wit, amazin'
i said, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

well, lately, lately, lately....i'm out or rhymes
i said, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes
left to sort it out
out of schemes, without a doubt
yeah, lately, lately, lately...i'm out of rhymes

Here's perspective, your dry spell lasts a day. Mine go months. I suspect you have a harem of muses.

Hey, Sir Alvin, here's a few hints to 'muse' thee: "I Gotta Woman(Cowboy)" way over town, that's good to me, Oh yeah . . . Ray Charles did this 'rough ride' in the mid '50's !! I'd change it to 'cowboy', which would make it very funny, . . . as you know my way of thinking . . . Also, I love Elvis's " DON' T ". It's slow, but oh soooo nice!

If you ever listen to Tom Lehrer - he's on You Tube - you'll notice how he makes words rhyme. (misery - rotizzery)

Alvin - you havin' a bad day is almost always better than my good days. When you don't know what to make for supper, make breakfast. It always works. And YOU out of rhymes and wit is like water out of wet. 5's on ya buddy.

I don't believe it for a second. You're the human equivalent of Rhymezone, Al....your writer's block could only be measured by scientists using high-tech equipment. 555 for ya, mate.
