The Lyrics

What's this? Amiright's Mister Liberal is wasting precious post-election gloating time on defending... Sarah Palin? As she herself would say, "You betcha." She's unacceptable to me on SO many levels, but she doesn't deserve these slings and arrows from a bunch of cowardly backstabbers, who worked for John McCain for one reason and one reason only: He was the Republican nominee, and hardly their first choice. In her case, "green" means "unready," definitely not "environmentally sound."
(instrumental opening)

Oh, she could hide from the press.
They'd still find that she's a mess.
The six o'clock newscast would be no jest.

And six rings, three AM.
Prez's jobs, can't handle them.
But leave her be, that would be for the best.

Cheer up, Sarah green.
Campaign boys are mean.
See them? They scream and grieve her,
zap this... Homecoming Queen.

You once thought of she
as a babe for victory.
Now you know how sloppy she can be.
Whoa, but economy's to blame.
She did not cost you the game.
And how much, wingnuts, should she take from thee?

Cheer up, Sarah green.
Campaign boys are mean.
See them? They scream and grieve her,
zap this... Homecoming Queen!

Cheer up, Sarah green.
Campaign boys are mean.
See them? They scream and grieve her,
zap this... Homecoming Queen!

Cheer up, Sarah green.
Campaign boys are mean.
See them? They scream and grieve her,
zap this... Homecoming Queen!

(repeat 'til fade)

If this is a cheer, I'd hate to see your jeer. Your feeding frezy on the right is about to dry up, then what shall you do? Write boring cheerleader songs? Your Pow-Tones is about to plummet. Being female I find this quite sexist and offensive and this opinion has nothing to do with the current political climate. I know a sexist bigot when I see one.

5's for the song, tho' I've seen nothing to convince Sarah's not simply reaping the fruit of seeds sown. Even taken with seaful of salt her "backstabbers'" comments credibly insist she defined their every attempt to make presentable.

I wonder what the outcome or outCry would've been, had the dark LadyCatherine been on the ticket, Sir ? PS: You'll be happy to know that it is She, who represents Revlon's ~RED DOOR~ perfume this Holiday Season, Sir Michael

Pretty good stuff. Maybe some Repubs are blaming Palin to distract from blaming Bush. One late-night comedian--I don't remember who--said that some were afraid of the "Bradley Effect" (saying you'd vote for a black candidate when you really wouldn't), but that the "Bradley Effect" was overcome by the "Bush Effect".

Good spoof of anonymous critics. Of course, she is about as green as the president elect, but still a good parody.

Politics, like life and parodies, is a cut throat business, Micheal. It will be an interesting four years.......
