The Lyrics

After a trip to Puerto Vallarta, I was inspired....
When this cold world starts getting me down
and Mexico is where I have decided to stay;
I hurry out to where the hot sand starts
and plan my buying for the entire day.
On the beach, to barter is easy,
Before sundown you'll have your jewelry.
Let me tell you now

When I wake up feelin' pumped and primed,
I go out to the shore to stake my place; (out on the beach)
Palapas two calling out my name
And all the vendors dart from space to space. (out on the beach)
On the beach, with Jo-el and Jose'
Where Berta and the youthful singers say
Let's go out on the beach (out on the beach)

All day long they come right up to sell,
Hoping that I'll fall in love and k'vel.

I keep on tellin' you

Our trip will end at the end of the week
We'll have to leave this special bargain place; (out on the beach)
While flying back we'll admire our stuff
And try to figure out how much we've spent .(out on the beach)
Out on the Beach (out on the beach)
Out on the beach (out on the beach)
Come on baby, out on the beach
Come on honey, out on the beach

Everything is just fine (out on the beach).

I enjoyed it--your song took me back to a visit to Vallarta a few years ago--we had a great time and found some great bargains, terrific food, pretty good snorkeling. My son practiced his Spanish with the locals in the "olas grandes" at the beach. d;:^)
