| Original Song Title: | "Riders on the Storm" |
| Original Performer: | The Doors |
| Parody Song Title: | "Children of the Corn" |
| Parody Written by: | Tony Wiseguy |
Children of the corn.
Children of the corn
Take that town by storm
Those Newlyweds are alone
They can't find a payphone
Build them a tombstone
Children of the corn.
He who walks behind the rows
Waters corn with a garden hose
Isaac leads the way
Killing is chils'd play
The Gods are satisfied
Who wants pizza pie?
Walks behind the rows, yeah.
Now we're going to Spokane
Now we're going to Spokane
Let's see a show of hands
Load the moving vans
Gather the odds and ends
t's right around the bend
Going to Spokane, yeah.
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Take that town by storm
Those Newlyweds are alone
They can't find a payphone
Build them a tombstone.
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn.
Children of the corn
Take that town by storm
Those Newlyweds are alone
They can't find a payphone
Build them a tombstone
Children of the corn.
He who walks behind the rows
Waters corn with a garden hose
Isaac leads the way
Killing is chils'd play
The Gods are satisfied
Who wants pizza pie?
Walks behind the rows, yeah.
Now we're going to Spokane
Now we're going to Spokane
Let's see a show of hands
Load the moving vans
Gather the odds and ends
t's right around the bend
Going to Spokane, yeah.
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Take that town by storm
Those Newlyweds are alone
They can't find a payphone
Build them a tombstone.
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn
Children of the corn.

I had a strange premonition that I would see a "Children of the Corn"-themed parody on AmIRight shortly after seeing the movie on display at Blockbuster. Pacing is fair, very funny and quite good overall, so 3-5-4.
Great concept and contains more than a kernal of comedy gold... a whole ear full!
