The Lyrics

That was then, and perhaps, it was true in that time. Since then, the concept of truth has become *all* of what Pilate said it was - as LIES have become far more popular than truth, and that everywhere. Instead of Pilate merely knowing 'that for the powerful, that which keeps them in the position of power will be defined as the truth', it has now become one of the chief unspoken rules of society, to whit: If you have power over another, then you are in authority; Those in authority define truth; Therefore, if you have the power, then YOU DEFINE TRUTH TO SUIT YOUR INCLINATION OF THE MOMENT by your words, thoughts, and deeds. Makes it hard for those who have trouble lying effectively - which IS the point of making lying mandatory so as to 'be like folks'.
I am a master LIAR, and I command,
LIAR: I put you to scorn,
LIAR: as if you weren't born,
And in two you're torn.

If you can't lie, you're not human,
Duty to die, this today, and...
You have no mind, you cannot live,
No future, and nothing to give.
The people's enemy, a cattle drive,
A poison wasp in our wond'rous hive.
Meet our weapons bright 'pon ev'ry hand.

LIAR: destruction is fun,
LIAR: name now the chosen one,
LIAR: I put you to scorn.

Deception fit for the winner's game,
Failure is put to the loser's name,
Time to hunt those named witches,
A crime to kill those evil snitches,
Work them dead digging mile-long ditches,
Bury their bodies and name them bitches!
Hear now the chants of the LIARS,
Curses pour down like old town criers,
Hatred springs ever lighting funeral pyres,
Erupting blazes start nightly fires.
Shame, Blame, Tame the Dame. Shame, Blame, Tame the Dame.
LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE, LIE!

LIAR: I put you to scorn,
LIAR: as if you weren't born,
Mountest thou upon my HORN. (1)
1) Has more than one meaning as written. Horn, as in 'power'; Horn, as in 'Cornuta' - and, upon reflection, there's a third one. I do not want to go there, even if being named 'life unworthy of life' tends to be *torture* a good part of the time.
