The Lyrics

inspired by Netanyahu saying "this is a time for war" and his referring to the Old Testament Bible verse utiized by Pete Seeger in the song The Byrds turned into a hit.
You Hamas fiends,
Burn, burn, burn
War is in season
Burn, burn, burn
Slamming slime is our purpose
Crushing devils

It’s time for war
It’s time to die
Busy weapon plants
Torment so deep
It’s time to kill
Not time to heal
Not time to laugh
A time to weep

You Hamas fiends,
Burn, burn, burn
War is in season
Burn, burn, burn
Slamming slime is our purpose
Crushing devils

Not time to build up
A time to break down
Not time to dance
A time to mourn
Not time to cast away stones
A time for warhead drones
Cause terror

You Hamas fiends,
Burn, burn, burn
War is in season
Burn, burn, burn
Slamming slime is our purpose
Crushing devils

Not time for love
A time of hate
A time of war
Not time for peace
Not time you may embrace
It’s time to refrain from embracing

You Hamas fiends,
Burn, burn, burn
War is in season
Burn, burn, burn
Slamming slime is our purpose
Crushing devils

A time for pain
Missiles to cruise
For bombs to rain
Kill, maim & bruise
Not time for love
It’s time for hate
Not time for peace
For that it is too late

I just slipped back for my annual tribute to the Edmund Fitzgerald, and to post a couple ideas that have been floating around my head. This parody is one of the most vicious and violent I have ever seen in the years I've been visiting the site. The rating for "funny" would not be appropriate, and goes back to the days of Spike Jones, when most song parodies were meant to be humorous. This has not been true on amiright for some time. I note a lack of comments. I never bothered with the numerical 555 system anyway. Seems most of the "old timers" are gone now. I don't follow the site much anymore. It is nice to come up with an idea once in a while. My situation and inspiration have changed some in the last couple years. I understand where this song is coming from. I remember 9/11. Daytime TV with its constant ads for "Wounded Warriors" is a reminder of the price of revenge.

My thoughts exactly. To augment this, we have Fedora Fred posting the same old orchestra tune, “Rhythm Steps”, over and over. Is he trying to drive away people from this site, or is he attempting to make it his personal stomping ground? Tell me how he’s suddenly getting three new people to start parodying his “trademark song” without his “permission”. Apparently we should quit trying to submit anything of quality and just repeat the same song ad nauseam.
