"Mister TSA Man"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This one came to me while I was watching a PBS special on folk music of the '60's.
Hey, Mister TSA Man, put your hands on me
I can't leave here 'til you've given me the "all clear"
Gay Mister TSA Man, you like frisking me
I'd enjoy it too, but I'm really not at all queer

Next time that I travel I will take a plane or ship
Where I won't have to be stripped
Or endure your manly grip
And your fingers on my hip
But I fear that soon your jackboots will come following

It's not worth flying anymore
This endless fool's parade
Security charade
When the government's afraid
And you're the one their scared about

Hey, Mister TSA Man, now you've gone too far
I'm hungry and there's a grocery store I'm going to
Now this here TSA man scans me in my car
I hate this paranoiac phase our country's going through

Great job! LOL on "Gay Mister TSA Man, you like frisking me". Very funny, yet sad and accurate commentary on the madness this country is going thru.

I'm really feeling this one. Somebody's gotta redo "Good Vibrations" for the TSA.

Great parody Patrick! Very well done! Would you mind if I made a recording of it? I would, of course, give you full credit for writing it and, I would definitely send it to Dr. Demento and it would most likely get airplay. Email me at incubus442442 at yahoo dot com.

Professor, I would be happy to have anyone record any of my parodies. All I request is that you provide me with a link to hear it or a recording on CD or tape. Cxu vi estas Incubus de bonekonata filmo kun William Shatner? I grant permission to anyone to use my lyrics, since I can't control their use anyway. It would be fun to hear them sung by someone who can actually sing. I have left enough clues in my songs and comments for any computer literate person to find me and send copies of recordings, royalty payments. One proviso, if you use one of my songs, you are responsible for any repercussions from the original artists. Thanks again. Glad you liked this one.

Just realized the second verse should be "train or ship". Got in a hurry to post this one.

Unlike the Tambourine Man, we don't put money in the TSA man's hat! Strange how the TSA recognizes only two genders (lines 3 & 4) for pat-downs. "Jackboots" is scary & "security charade" appropos. Do "grocery store" & "in my car" imply future post-flight scanning? 555 despite "their" in line 13.

Good stuff! Some very clever lines, and a civic situation well deserving of the satirical treatment.
