The Lyrics

Thanks to John McCain, for quoting one of many great speeches of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and breaking my writer's block as far as he was concerned.
Destiny, we have rendezvous with it, you see.
FDR told us that we must be
The arsenal of democracy.

Suddenly, fear's not half of what it used to be.
It ain't something that will bother me
thanks to alphabet agencies.

Why the New Deal stage brings such rage from GOP?
They think it's too much of a touch with destiny.

Destiny, we've got new responsibility
after such a day of infamy.
Oh, blast the Axis totally.

Why the New Deal's scrapped, up and wrapped, though partially?
Win the war and then we'll extend the destiny-y-y-y.

Destiny, that's something FDR would not see.
But we came so far from '33.
Oh, I believe in destiny.
Hm, hm, hm, hm, hm... hm-hm!
And on November 2, "Happy Days Are Here Again!"
