The Lyrics

Wow, fourth Beatles parody in a row. And I plan on a fifth. This one is different from the others, as it is my contribution to the H2G2 White Album Supplemental organised by 2nz. This is my tribute to Wonko The Sane. Enjoy!
The world is nuts
Nuts
The world is nuts

I've come to this revelation, friend
That the world has lost it's mind
They've instructions for toothpicks, friend
They've lost their marbles, all right
So I have built them an asylum
Because the world has gone nuts

Outside their nuthouse, there I live
For my sanity holds true
The asylum's where I can't live
My brain's not made out of Froot Loops
I think that the world's gone nutty
Yes, the world's friggin' nuts

The world is nuts
Yes, I call myself Wonko
The world is nuts
Nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts

Who needs instructions for toothpicks?
People who've lost their mind
Maybe that's why the missing dolphins
Chose me over mankind
To leave part of their last message
Because the world's gone nuts
Nowww

The world is nuts
Yes, I call myself Wonko
The world is nuts
Nuts, nuts, nuts, nuts

There's green-winged angels on scooters
And that is not a lie
No, this doesn't mean I am bonkers
Toothpick directions, guys
That is the work of a looney
So the world has gone nuts

The world is nuts
Nuts
The world is nuts
Oh...
The green-winged angels on scooters are guardians of God's Last Message To His Creation, which is, of course, "We apologise for the inconvenience". Or "We apologize for the inconvenience", depending on which edition of the book you're reading.

GREAT WORK TCOP! I'm so happy Wonko made it in. And well done naming the specific example of the toothpick directions. Spoiler Alert at the end for God's final message to his creation, but YAY! We had a severe shortage of parodies for the 4th book, so thanks especially for helping the project fill out more in that area.

The picks are for prying nuts residue from between the teeth.

When the 'Nowww!' came up, I pictured Marvin doing the guitar solo!
