Parody Song Title:

"Thompson"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

Coming down the home stretch of the Prime Ministers Parody Project. If it wasn't for the fact that Sir John Sparrow David Thompson died in office, at Windsor Castle, 3,000 miles from home, he'd probably be completely forgotten today.
(instrumental opening)

Thompson is the guy we choose
to be our next Prime Minister.
Thompson is the guy we're choosing.

Job we will give him now.
We know he'll do good, and how.

Thompson, he upholds the law.
He's honored like no other lawyer.
Proved the annexationist woozy.

Job he does good there, now.
We knew he'd do good, and how.

You're asking me, will our land grow?
I don't know, I don't know.
He sticks around, and he may show.
But he must go, Queen says so.

(instrumental break)

Here from Windsor Castle, news.
The Queen announcer Sir John has died.
So much for the Privy Council.

She must send him home now.
We'll bury him grandly, and how.

(instrumental close)
