The Lyrics

This is for the guy who keeps slamming Cindy Sheehan, a far more moral person than he will ever be.
One guy, on here, he wants her gone.
But her sorrow and pain
well, she misses her son.

Sent off to war, by "President" dumb.
Has such sorrow and pain
well, she misses her son.

And now the time has come
to impeach Georgie Bush
he must go.
And admit you must
the cause was not just
we all know.
Whoa, whoa.

One guy, on here, he wants her gone.
But her sorrow and pain
well, she misses her son.

And now the time has come
to impeach Georgie Bush
he must go.
And admit you must
the cause was not just
we all know.
Whoa, whoa.

One guy, on here, he wants her gone.
But her sorrow and pain
well, she misses her son.
I can't believe I'm quoting Michael Douglas, with whom I have, shall we say, "issues." But the words fit this situation, so here goes: "We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious people to solve them. You gather a group of middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income voters who remember with longing an easier time, and you talk to them about family and American values and character, and you scream about patriotism. You tell them she's to blame for their lot in life. And you call her a whore. Well, if you want a debate about character, you better stick with me, because she is way out of your league."

The real me doesn't like Dick, or Georgie, or Donald, or Karl, or any of the illegitimate cabal that stole the White House in 2000. I don't know who that other individual is, but the real me is more real than whatever he is. Could be worse, I suppose: I've never said that Cindy Sheehan was hot. Steamed, maybe, but she, unlike Bush, has just cause.
