No matter how many times
That you try to enfold them. . .
Get madder each time they whine
So that you cry and scold them.
Your patter isn't sublime
And kvetching won't
Mold them into someone who's not
Nebbish. Maybe you're a bit nebbish too?

Yiddish is this word that sort of applies
To the mopes who fart and wear clothes the wrong size.
You see their big guts hanging off the front of their jeans.
To "Star Trek" and other sci-fi they have written paeans.
So you can mock them and their habits and glare, but
They're the ones who let you play good
Video games and keep the scores.

Oh, I'm beginning to think these men have never found
A girl they could want more than C.
To us, maybe it's just a letter that's nearly round
They use it to write, seamlessly,
Device drivers they constantly refine.

So if you want to keep on playing games in real time,
You've got to realize these games require thousands of lines.
You play in dungeons, shoot villains, monsters, and spies,
You take for granted interface that lets you coordinate
Hands and eyes.
