Song Parodies -> "Mitt's Flip-Floppy"

Original Song Title:

"Mickey's Monkey"

Parody Song Title:

"Mitt's Flip-Floppy"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

On Caucus day, who's creepier: Mitt or Mike?
Alright, is Mitt Romney's course steady?
I'm not sure I think so.
A "yes," a "no." What's this guy stand for?

"Nay," "aye," "nay," "aye" ("nay," "aye," "nay," "aye")
Say "nay," say "aye"; "yea," "fie"

Fat cat named Mitt, he came from Boston town
To run for president. What'd he propound?
He was pro-choice in his governor days,
But now he says he's changed his ways.

He said he'd been a hunter since the age of three,
But then he changed the tune he'd sing.
And he fessed up, "Not really."
That cat named Mitt's revealed as flip-floppy.

Now Mitt is a Mormon, but that don't pester me,
But for many it ain't their thing;
For them, it is heresy.
Flip the set on, flop down--Mitt's on TV. . .

And tellin' us that he don't bow to Moroni.
But for me that isn't the thing:
His two-faced hypocrisy
And his creepy smile are what bother me.
Pandering Mitt couldn't be more phony.

He's connin' us--that Mitt's flip-floppy.
Fibbin', or is he just flip-floppy?
Does Mass. make you flip-floppy?
John Kerry was also flip-floppy.

"Nay," "aye," "nay," "aye" ("nay," "aye," "nay," "aye")
Say "nay," say "aye"; "yea," "fie"

[message-changing interlude]

Floppy: "si." Floppy: "no."
The Latinos call it a "giro."
Mitt's flippy; Mitt flops too.
Mitt'll do a flip-flop just for you.
In any language, Mitt's flip-floppy.
Mitt's a flippin' and he's floppin';
To false lippin', he ain't coppin'.
Gent is flip-floppy (real flip-floppy),
Dude's flip-floppy (too flip-floppy),
Mitt ("flip") Romney; Mitt ("flop") Romney.
Mitt's flip-floppy (Mitt "ick" Romney)

"Nay," "aye," "nay," "aye" ("nay," "aye," "nay," "aye")
Say "nay," say "aye"; "yea," "fie". . . .

Maybe we should flip NittWitt Mitt the bird. 'Cause he's a flippin' fool. Here's a five, and if Huckabee gets no more delegates than that in this whole race, I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm not one for negative politics usually, but I have to admit, I don't care for Romney---I really can't stand his snide swipes at other people when he's asked questions. I was watching the YouTube debates, and rather than answering questions, he took swipes at Hillary, the ACLU, and other people who were not there to defend himself. . .and he can't make up his mind--ever!
