I went to the record store, right up to the New Age floor.
I took a walk to the dingy back, walked up right to the "reject rack".
And, the CD that really caught my eye, me-oh-my,
Was "Philip Glass On Acid".

I put the CD in the player deck, and I cried out:"Holy Heck"!
Clinks and clanks that sound like cats! People singing only in E flat,
But the style, I thought was funky fresh, like John Tesh,
I like "Philip Glass On Acid."

Ten-thousand people maybe more, came right on knocking at my door.....
"Hey, can you please turn off that crap?" "Some of us are trying to take a nap!"
I was obstinate in my New Age music ways, always.

My dad charged right in my room, he had that look of constant doom!
