Hello Congress, you old fools
Another shooting in the schools
Because the money you've all been taking
stopped the laws you should have been making
And the reason that those kids got blown away?
the N.R.A.
They are the Hounds of Violence

In sympathy, we feel their pain
(While) on the streets they march for change
They want Congress to just pass a bill
I hope this doesn't end like Charlottesville
I'm afraid they're headed for a clash with the Neo-Con Right
In that fight.... you can count on violence

On that Las Vegas night, we saw
Three thousand people, maybe more
People running for their lives, screaming
People dying on the grass, bleeding
While Republi-cons... all offered "thoughts and prayers"
Not one dared.... challenge the Hounds of Violence

Here is something we've all known
Violence in our land has grown
You're so stupid that we can't teach you
You're so ignorant, we can't reach you
Empty words, like spent shell casings fell....
these senseless acts of violence

And the dues the members pay
To the evil N.R.A.
Fund the campaigns of the GOP
In the interest of the gun lobby
And the news screamed, "the blood of the students was splattered on the high school halls"
Bullets in walls.....put there by the Hounds.... of Violence
