I can hear the soft purring of the kitten I love
As she lies here beside me on Christmas Eve night
And her fur of white fluffiness sheds on my pillow
Reflecting the glow of the winter moonlight

I peeked at the one from Sears outlet store

I can't wait much longer, I'm shaking the presents
What's in them forbidden until Christmas Day
Yet I know as the tree's overloaded with presents
