In my detailed garb of splendor
I am a show
Gaze into my window, and you'll see a beau
In a festive folly, trying on his clothes

I've silk shawls
And gorgeous pleats so flighty
That some may denigrate
I wrap my knees in britches, stitched to draw acclaim
Enraptured 'cause my duds are never plain
I love my frocks
My legs in nylons

My jock is stuffed
With wild fur and serge galore
I'm leaping in my revelry
My phony turgid lumber, concealing lack of pride
Oh, it's never fluffed, my nether wood has died
I am a fop
I am beguilin'

I have my looks
And my sewing team to bedeck me
I'm appealin' in my garments
Striding like a groom, cape with fringe that blooms
I lust for fun, but no one clutches me
I am a flop
I am not smilin'

And a fop seems so vain
