The Lyrics

This will probably be funniest to people who've read Anne McCafferey's Pern series.
We'd like to know
A little bit about you
For AIVAS.
We'd like to help you learn
To help yourself.
Listen all around you all you hear
are dragon minds.
Stroll around the hall
Until you feel a song.

And here's to you, Master Robinton,
Camo loves you more than you will know (Wo wo wo).
And bless you, please, Master Robinton,
Benden holds a place for those who drink (Hey hey hey, yeah I think).

Hide it in a hiding place
Where no one ever goes.
Put it in your pantry with your glow-worms.
It's a little secret,
Just the Robintons' affair.
Most of all, you've got to hide it
from the weyrlings, Coo

ca-choo, Master Robinton,
Camo loves you more than you will know (Wo wo wo).

And bless you, please, Master Robinton,
Benden holds a place for those who drink (Hey hey hey, yeah I think).

Sitting on a sofa
All the sevenday at noon,
Going to the weyrleaders' debate,
Laugh about it,
Shout about it,
When you're fighting Thread,
Any way it lands on you you're dead.

Where have you gone, Old Canth and F'nor?
A planet turns its threadscored eyes to you (Ooo ooo ooo).

What's that you say, Master Robinton?
"AIVAS has left and gone between" (Brown Bronze Blue, Gold and Green).

Well, I never read the series, but the pacing was very good, I liked "any way it lands on you you're dead", and some tiny guy gave you ones so 5-5-5. Good job.

I lost my copy of the song, so I'll take your word on it, Claude. I knew some of it, of course. Besides, I never like to see the one's guy fiddling with scores. ( I never read the series either).

By Faranth's Shell, I didn't about this one until I did a Search (to see if there were any Pern-related parodies, that is). Canth and F'Nor are gone? :(

Oh don't worry... they're surely not gone for good!

I've read the pern books-looked this up after hearing "Mrs. Robinson" and coming up with the same idea. Was amused. Good job!
