Song Parodies -> "A Cheney's Gonna Come"

Original Song Title:

"A Change Is Gonna Come"

Original Performer:

Sam Cooke

Parody Song Title:

"A Cheney's Gonna Come"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

"Come" as in "arrive." I'm hardly the dirtiest-minded person here. Sam will probably turn over in his grave from me using his deepest song to describe a Republican, but here goes:
'Twill be born by the river
Potomac is its name.
And from its mean old Grandpa
it will deal with the shame.
No, no one saw this coming
but I know
a Cheney's gonna come.
Oh, yes it will.

It's been so hard for women
who don't like a guy.
And her dad's supporters tell her
that one day she's gonna fry.
No, no one saw this coming
but I know
a Cheney's gonna come.
Oh, yes it will.

Yes, they all ripped John Kerry.
Yes, they tore him down.
But he spoke an inconvenient
truth that's come around.
No, no one saw this coming
but I know
a Cheney's gonna come.
Oh, yes it will.

We don't know who's the father.
You know they love their secrecies.
And Mary and her partner
they're gay, but still Cheneys!

Whoaaaa...

There been times that I thought
the Repubs might not be wrong.
But now I think
they'll never change their song.
No, no one saw this coming
but I know
a Cheney's gonna come.
Oh, yes it will.
Julius Caesar "Buddy" Watts, father of J.C. Watts, once the only black Republican in Congress (from Oklahoma), once said, "A black man voting for a Republican is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders." A gay person voting for a Democrat is acting on his or her rights. A gay person voting for a Republican is acting not just ON but AGAINST his or her rights.

I thought you revealed your true identity already. . .if you are so proud why don't you support freedom of speech such as this here. . .I mean that's in the cosntitution--oh I forgot--the republicans don't pratice the constitution-they practice finding loop holes to get around the constitution. . .The Abortion issue is one issue that can be debated forever to no avail either direction--but the anti-black, anti-gay, anti-hispanic, anti-everything that is not Christian White and Man is just rediculous, I thought we moved passed that, aparently not in America. . .
