Parody Song Title:

"That's The Price"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

The Lyrics

Listening, that's the price
If you want one to hear thee.
You've a plight, that's not right
You feel crappy as goat cheese.

Fossil so old you're not in the know.
Doom and woe forever.

With your hands, cold as ice
Press thy cold hands - whatever.

(repeated)

Listening, will suffice,
You are warning me to flee.
Call or scrawl, neat and trite
Don't take happy pills, sweetie.

Fossil so old you're not in the know.
Doom and woe forever.

Listening, will suffice,
Guess you're home now forever.

Hmm, I don't think I know TOS here. Also, what is (repeated)? I'll try to find a MP3 of this song in the next few days so I can hear this song.

Nice one, 555's

Thanks Jack and Larry.

Jack, (repeated) just indicates that I repeated the whole song using different lyrics, since the original only has 8 lines instead of the 10 required. Instead of looking for an .mp3, the music is so simple, why don't you just try this midi?

Sorry it took a week for me to get back here but I did track down TOS (or, at least a cover of it). I like this one better for some reason, better internal rhymes and (besides the goat cheese) this line: "Don't take happy pills, sweetie". :0
