The Lyrics

Maybe some of you can relate.
Oh, dear love
My darling
I hate you, oh so much
A lot of the time

We dine, and you will treat me
Though times I’d rather dutch
I love your whine.

I hate your love
I love your love
Oh, lord above, poor me

Chilly shivers flow into me
Bringing glee
Your sadistic streak thrilling me, yeah!
Therapeutic docs say to me, “You must flee.
You should live alone
In a tree.”

Whoa, my love
Alarming
I’m missing
Missing you, my crutch.
Just some of the time.

And slime like you, you know me
And slime, I love too much
Oh please, malign!
I love your love
I hate your love
We’re hand in glove, aren’t we?

Very clever/stupid! I am happy/sad reading this. Here's 555/111(no really 555!!!)

That's a great take expressing it through a bipolar person's POV! First they're sad, now they're happy! I dislike/like this song! Hey I don't like it! No wait, I like it now. This song is way too unfeeling and caring! Take 555 tablets for the bipolar condition!
Janus - February 03, 2010 - Report this comment
We both liked it.

I guess you can have it both ways

Exactly how I feel about FG... KIDDING! ... Lot of celebs have been diagnosed bipolar - Robin Williams, Dusty Springfield -- Hey! Did someone say, "Dusty Springfield?" Gotta run....

The hard part is deciding which pole to take at any given moment: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thelovinspoonful24.shtml.
555 mg of lithium.

I'm a little stunned! I almost didn't submit this.
Adagio- No it isn't, but sure it is.
Mark- Yes it is, and no it isn't.Christie- I like Prozac, if you have any. Maybe with a Merlot chaser?
Janus- Thanks for helping me face facts...both of them.
T1K- You're right, but it's oh, so wrong.
FG- I'm glad you liked it, and I hate you for it ;-O
PN- Thanks for the 5's or are they 1's in disguise?
TT & TT- Is this according to the Moody Instittute???!!! (insert rim shot).
Jim & I (Gemeni, get it? -- rim shot!) - February 03, 2010 - Report this comment
No, but Moody's rated it AAA. Standard rated it AA+ while Poor's rated it BB-. Go figure. (Maybe got the Moody's Blues?)

Fact: Prozac™ causes 6ual dysfunction, as do all SSRIs, and long-term users are being found to have irreversible Parkinsonism. Stick with the Merlot.

(psst! - codependent and bipolar are unrelated, unless that's a reeeeeally stretched pun - talk about rim shots! - tt&tt)

@TT/TT- No pun intended on codependence and bipolar. Just that some of the words in the parody can be used toward a diagnosis of either maladay.(1)

(1)Treatments vary. Please consult a physician before attempting any treatment suggested by AmIRight, its subsidiaries, or its corporate sponsor, Abilify. If you are pregnant or nursing, AmIRight may not be right of you. Or left of you.
FG @ TT - February 04, 2010 - Report this comment
For the record, TT has *never* "felt about me"... ;)

LOL @ Warren's disclaimer!
TT - February 04, 2010 - Report this comment
Not to get too picky (Who, moi? Never!), but AFAIK, co-dependence isn't' a malady in itself, but an unhealthy attachment, support, or inability to leave someone who has a serious issue. Discussed this with another writer here:

http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/wefive4.shtml

Disclaimer: If you are pregnant, don't blame TT. He always wears a shell during intimate encounters. If you are nursing, *that* is probably TT nursing on you.

@ FG: Sure, sure, deny it in public. "But when we get behind closed doors"....
