Parody Song Title:

"Camel Lot"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Come by, come buy, from salesman Amir
The dromedaries are on sale here

If transportation through the desert you need
Right now we have the sale that you sought
Just pick one up and take it home, but you feed
Your camel lots
You don't pay a thing until December
As long as your good credit isn't shot
The deal that you made you will remember
From Camel Lot

Camel Lot, Camel Lot
It's better than a horse or car
From our Camel Lot, Camel Lot
They can spit really far

The rain may never fall for many seasons
Our beasts, they store that water in their hump
I say there's simply not
A bigger bio-pot
For the single humps or doubles in this dump
Called Camel Lot

Camel Lot, Camel Lot
And they can also fertilize
From our Camel Lot, Camel Lot
Each one of ours, a prize!

The beasts will get you over every hillside
If they won't move you kick them in the rear
But try not to get caught
By blasts of nasal snot
For happily-lumpy-dune-riding come here
To Camel Lot!

My buddy Johnny D also used this idea, which I researched after I posted. I think we're the only two that have tried it.

Very clever idea and content....and quite timely, with current gas prices

Let me guess: Johnny's version did a riff on the word "hump." Well, from what I understand, camels ain't exactly fast, and they're better at emitting gas than accepting it. But knowing that only makes this funnier.

Very good, Rick, especially the last verse. Johnny D and you might be the only two who have parodied this OS on AmIRight, but the Capitol Steps did it (as sung by Saddam Hussein) during the first gulf war.
