Parody Song Title:

"A World Without Guns"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This is for all those "law-abiding gun owners" who think that, if they have to face down a bad guy, they'll whip out their piece and blow the sucker away, just like Clint or Ah-nold or Sly or Bruce Willis. Right, they won't be so slow in realizing that they have a gun they can use that, when they do reach for it, they'll find their pockets wet -- with blood or urine? -- before they can even pull the gun out, let alone fire it. The original version of this song, of course, was written by Sir Cute One, Paul McCartney, whose girlfriend at the time, Jane Asher, was Peter's brother. Peter Asher later became Linda Ronstadt's producer, so, as you can see, he peaked at age 20.
Please lock me away
'cause I'm in the NRA
here inside, where I hide with my craziness.
I don't care what they say, I won't stay in a world without guns.

Birds I cannot shoot.
I can't bag my legal loot.
I'm OK, here I'll stay with my craziness.
I don't care what they say, I won't stay in a world without guns.

So I wait and in a while
I will have my murder trial.
Pull the gun from my cold hand.
When you do, I'm dead, so baby until then

Lock me away
'cause I'm in the NRA
here inside, where I hide with my craziness.
I don't care what they say, I won't stay in a world without guns.
I don't care what they say, I won't stay in a world without guns.
John Lennon may have been writing satire, but, as he later found out, happiness is NOT a warm gun.

Luckily for those who share my view, the gun ban in England has caused gun violence to skyrocket, not decline. When criminals know there's no chance you're armed, say goodbye. You're right about one thing though, just having a gun isn't going to help you in every single situation. However, it saved my life once and that's all it takes in my opinion. Good parody by the way...

Happyness is a warm gun is about Heroin...but anyway, even though I disagree with your point, you did fit the pacing very well.....Im not sure, but I think the "So I wait and in a while I will see my true love smile" part is repeated again...I dont remember, its been a little while since Ive heard this song....

Michael, this is deja vu, I was trying to come up with a "Wold Without Love" parody, but you did it good.

Wouldn't a world without guns be nice, just like a world without people that give ones would be nice
