| Parody Song Title: | "When A Man Has A Sex Change" |
| Parody Written by: | Jason |
When a man has a sex-change
Must keep his underwear on now
He'd change his name to the new life he has
If he is gay, he's transexual
He can now by skirts
Turn his life on his gender if he now wears drag
When a man has a sex-change
He'll wear his sexy make-up
Tryin' to adapt to his figure
He'll give up all his trousers
And buys brand new dresses
If he thinks thats the way to be a babe
Well, this man is a, woman
I changed names to something girly
Learnin' to wear a massive padded bra
Queer guy, please don't come near me
When a man has a sex-change
Deep inside he is weird
Tries to fit in with society
If he is paintin' his bedroom pink
He's the one to show it
Transexual life is so bliss
Yes, when a man has a sex-change
I don't know how on earth he feels
'Cause drag queen, drag queen Im a man
When A man has a sex-change.
Must keep his underwear on now
He'd change his name to the new life he has
If he is gay, he's transexual
He can now by skirts
Turn his life on his gender if he now wears drag
When a man has a sex-change
He'll wear his sexy make-up
Tryin' to adapt to his figure
He'll give up all his trousers
And buys brand new dresses
If he thinks thats the way to be a babe
Well, this man is a, woman
I changed names to something girly
Learnin' to wear a massive padded bra
Queer guy, please don't come near me
When a man has a sex-change
Deep inside he is weird
Tries to fit in with society
If he is paintin' his bedroom pink
He's the one to show it
Transexual life is so bliss
Yes, when a man has a sex-change
I don't know how on earth he feels
'Cause drag queen, drag queen Im a man
When A man has a sex-change.

Queer 5s for you!
Thanks Yoidy! I can't understand why someone else left that low mark and didn't leave a comment!
(SOTM) This parody is totally ignorant about the established differences between transgenders, transvestites and homosexuals, so I cannot judge this as funny at all.
Horrible pacing, and not exactly all that funny
SOTM-Too gay
(SOTM) While I have to disagree with Matty on the pacing (it's not quite a 5, but a high 4)- I'm not really sure about the humour value here, Jase. Whether or not you meant it, it does come across as quite homophobic. Sorry, but not to my taste, dude.
To everyone who has commented so far and to those who are about to leave a comment, I am not homophobic, this parody just seemed like a joke at the time. Im sorry if I have caused any offence.
While I'd not go so far as to call this "offensive", I do get the feeling there's a lot of comedic potential missed in a title sub that's (if you'll excuse the term) begging for it.
(SOTM) Well, I too didn't find it as offensive as I was expecting. . .but there was a large chunk that I need to comment on and explain why it's coming off the way it is. . .
"Well, this man is a, woman I changed names to something girly Learnin' to wear a massive padded bra Queer guy, please don't come near me"
That line sounds very homophobic, Queer Guy, please don't come near me, again, I know you didn't mean it as badly as it came out, but that is kinda offensive
"When a man has a sex-change Deep inside he is weird Tries to fit in with society"
Not that I'm a transexual, but that stereotyping them as weird is a misunderstanding of why they do what they do. . .that also can be taken offensively.
"If he is paintin' his bedroom pink He's the one to show it Transexual life is so bliss"
This line is sterotypical also
"Yes, when a man has a sex-change I don't know how on earth he feels 'Cause drag queen, drag queen Im a man"
And here's the kicker, a drag queen, a gay person and a trans-sexual are all different. A Gay person is a person who is sexual attracted to his or her own sex, a drag queen is a man who dresses in woman's clothing--and is actually straight more often than gay, and a transexual is a woman or man who was born the opposite sex (or a person who had a sex change) but felt like they should have been born the opposite sex. . .the words aren't really interchangable, but I've already forgiven you before reading this parody because I do think that towards the end you were just trying to finish the parody and that they weren't meant the way some may take them. . .

(SOTM) Well...I'm not sure what to make of this. I'm not viewing it through quite the PC lens as some others here, but it is rather repetitive and unoriginal, I'm afraid. We all have ones like these, though.
SOTM - There's not much to work with on this song, except for funny title subs, so having once had "when an orc loves a cave troll" in the works for a long time without being able to squeeze more fun out of it than that I'll give you the benefit of a doubt here, despite having the same initial reaction as some of the others.
SOTM- I'm wit Pete here.4-2-2
SOTM - I've read worse, but I've also read much better. Sorry.
(SOTM) what Cat said - I can tell you weren't trying to be offensive, Jason, just trying to find gags to honour your idea - still, and whether it bothers you or not is your business, but unPC stuff can sure come back and bite you!
Indeed you are right Stuart! I am feeling the bite right now from the unPC side of this! Well if there is any consolation this is one of a kind I have written and I can assure you this kind of material from me will never, ever happen again. It doesn't bother me now but it really did at first as I thought 'what the hell have I done?!' Anyway I really feel I have redeemed myself with my excellent 'Tale Of Blake's Cooking Skills' parody which was my latest SOTM entry, and I am also glad that no-one seems to be holding this parody against me. Just to reiterate what I said before, I sincerely apologise to everyone who found this offensive.
Oh Jason, You were forgiven before I ever read it. . .I don't think any of the SOTM or Contestants in the InThe00s boards are the type that hold a past parody against future parodies, and 90% of the times parodies don't reflect anything other than the parodist doing something he/she thinks is funny. . .and we all have bloopers. . .and I mean we ALL have bloopers. . .the thing is there is always next contest, and one bad parody does NOT define a person. No one is going to like every parody you write, or every parody that I write or anyone else. Some people hate fat parodies, some hate skinny parodies, some hate gas parodies. . .that's just part of the game. . .if a parody doesn't offend anyone at all, then it probably isn't a good parody because any parody will offend someone even though it's not meant that way. . .this one went a little overboard, but you more than owned up to it, and besides it wasn't intentionally. . .you already apologized, I don't think you have anything to worry about or ever did.
Thanks for your words of wisdom B.A.D.. Well i feel better after reading what you said. Anyway this matter is well and truly under the carpet now, so I think its time to put this parody behind be and get writing on some new material.
SOTM - I really, really, really thought the parody should have been called "When A Man Is A Woman", but other than that (and what others have stated) I think having a sex change doesn't change the person, they just accessorize.
jaon it was ok i see you trod on a few toes , i am always amazed how many different interpretations people can make. so unless you right an essay about your thought process some people will take it the wrong way. like axel rose said "take it for what it is !"
(SOTM) Comment for Song of the Month contest.
It was alright, good idea though
