The Lyrics

I figured that after doing a lot of songs about Dale Earnhardt, Jr., I needed to have a song about Danica Patrick, primarily poking fun at her inability to finish on the lead lap, or in rare cases, her inability to finish a race at all.
When 2010 began
I can't begin to knowing
But then I knew it was growing strong
Then a few more years passed
And you got into the Sprint Cup
Then everything would just go flat-out wrong
Hands, off the wheel
Wrecking cars, hitting the wall, making guys mad
Oh, Danica
Who knew you could drive so slow?
Don't Panic-a
But it seems your car won't go
Look at the track
It doesn't seem that bad
After a lap or two
And when you wreck cars
You make Junior crazy
And his fans keep saying, "Screw you!"
Crashing, hitting walls
Wrecking cars, blowing up, hitting walls
Oh, Danica
Who knew you could drive so slow?
Don't Panic-a
But it seems your car won't go
Oh, Danica
Who knew you could drive so slow?
Don't Panic-a
But it seems your car won't go
Oh, Danica
Who knew you could drive so slow?
Don't Panic-a
But it seems your car won't go

Joe, I can appreciate your love of motorsports, but as a Danica fan I find your conclusions with NASCAR a bit disturbing. She did Indy first and then NASCAR. How many NASCAR guys have done both? And her "slowness" as you put it was actually her playing it safe conserving fuel and staying on the outside. Yeah, I got frustrated too to try the come from behind at the last 50 laps routine, but at least she didn't cause major pile ups (which guys do all the time) or drive aggressively to bump and swipe. If so, the double standard would have started with whiny males. Actually, they whined anyway. Danica made the 20s but had a lot of bad luck on the track with the car and accidents. It happens and it certainly has happened to the best drivers in any motorsport category. Anyway, 555 for the parody but do not agree with your rating of her. She is one of the greatest multi-talented racers of our time at well over NASCAR speeds and has pushed female racing forward. All of the male NASCAR drivers have had bad seasons too!!! So try to be fair in your evaluation as you overlooked the many times male drivers caused major accidents and she avoided them through her driving skill :)

What do you want me to do now? Write a song about Richard Petty? After all, I'm wondering what The King would think of this song (he's insulted Danica more times than I have). Danica fans, no offense, but she should just go back to the Nationwide Series.

Now c'mon Johnny, have u been living under a rock for years? Danica Patrick is a bold female racer for both Indy and NASCAR. Inspiration to millions and once considered for a land speed driver if the machine ever gets built. She drives a new Chevy SS on the track and is #10. One hell of a driver and beautiful too!
