The Lyrics

Seen, in downtown New Brunswick, New Jersey on the morning of September 9, 2003, trying to get from Police Headquarters to a deli across the street. No joke!
I'm here sayin' I got something for you.
Story, swear it's true, I confess.
They were walkin' how they shouldn't been walkin'
and now deli guy is givin' them his best.

Three cops I saw jaywalkin'! And I swear that it's true!
Try it yourself, those cops are gonna ticket onto you!
Yeah!

They were walkin' to the place where they're eatin'
and they were thinkin' that they gotta get fed.
They were crossin' when they shoulda been waitin'.
Now, a light is a light, but that light was still red!

Three cops I saw jaywalkin'! And I swear that it's true!
Try it yourself, those cops are gonna ticket onto you!
Yeah!

They keep eatin' what that deli's sellin'
and they keep thinkin' the sandwiches won't get burned! Ha!
I just saw some bribe cash in their clutches, yeah.
And what I know, the paper would love to learn.

Three cops I saw jaywalkin'! And I swear that it's true!
Try it yourself, those cops are gonna ticket onto you!

Are you ready, cops?
Start explainin'!
Also seen in the same city, a bumper sticker: BAD COP! NO DONUT!

I always wonder about people with that bumper sticker on their car. I think it's hilarious! But doesn't it say "Please pull me over?" I don't think they'll get off with a warning with that sticker =)

Yeah - I always hate it when I see a cop speeding or doing something like lane change without signal, you know stuff they'd nail us for but they get away with. They should be setting the examples. Nice parody Michael and so true.

You'd think they would'nt waste their time on frivilous crap like traffic tickets. There's way too much other stuff they should be worried about. good Job Mike.

Excellent job. Offhand and inconsequentially wacky.
