I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our Christian nation. Divine Providence, not any advance planning, leads us to this location on this day.
I say to you today, my fiends, that FAR right is the only way to our salvation. I shill for that dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in creeping nativist fear.

I have a dream that our poor children are free from indoctrination, and they will not be nudged to secularism humanism by the content of their textbooks’ words.

JAB - you certainly know the original address. The seriousness of this parody deserves an uncharacteristically serious observation from a shameless buffoon like me. I fear we all have become far too cynical, not without good reason. My dream is when all can accept the desire for such virtues as honor, faith, and patriotism (not to mention equality, justice, and brotherhood) at face value, rather than wondering what's really going on behind the curtain. Wouldn't it have been something if Beck and Reverend Sharpton had merged their rallies? THAT would have been worthy of the original. OK, with that said, it's back to my occasional partisan political parodies in the pursuit of the almighty cheap laugh. ;D

The Glenn Beck rally was a disgraceful ego trip. So was the "Million Man March" by Louis Farrakhan - I saw it on TV and some speaker said, "We're gonna be passing around a big cardboard box and you will fill it with cash!". Look at the sheep. You'd think people would learn from these moronic swindlers but noooooooo..... Dr. King's legacy has crapped on by these bozos but your parody is cool and I'm glad I ain't the only one who can see throught the smokescreen. Let's strive to keep MLK's dream alive.

Also, the "straw man" fallacy of logic: putting words into your opponents' mouths, then arguing against your own version of what you think they think, and ignoring the fact that the opposition comes in many different philosophies, creeds, and - yes - colors
. Many African-Americans oppose the current policies and trends of government, especially since they may be hardest-hit by the continuing economic ignorance that is only making things worse.

Dr King's dream of an America in which race no longer matters is largely achieved. People like Sharpton who derive their position and their purchasing power from racial division and the taxing power of big government, naturally will not want to see their earnings go away. As an individual though, I could see Sharpton maintaining the standard of living to which he is accustomed as an actor, TV talk show host, or similar profession, even in a free market, post-racial America.
He would totaly reject the calls for violence from Spike Lee the NBPP and BLM and talked Nichel Nichlous to stay on Star Trek
