With pills I'll survive pounding out this music.
On top of the pills, drink a thousand beers.
I've still got a long way to go on music--
Drink coffee till it's pouring out my ears.
I can't find the beat; create juices aren't stirred,
So I stare at the screen blankly.
Time is flying by; my rhymes are running dry
Or coming out blandly.
I look for a book and I trip and I fall.
It's a dictionary
Of rhymes that I sought
To find rhyme for "epistolary."
So back to the pills. Oh no! I have only
Six left; where are the other fifty-four?
I guess I ingest-
ed a lot while boozing.
I pass out on the floor.
