The Lyrics

There's a crook who leads a life of spamming
Inside of your PC, "agents" he's cramming
With every line of code, he sneaks into your node,
Odds are your life will be his tomorrow

Secret "Agent" Spam!
Secret "Agent" Spam!
It's stealing all your numbers,
And taking away your name!

Beware of pretty pop-ups on your screen
A pretty pop-up hides an evil scheme
Ah, be careful what you click
For it's you they want to trick
Odds are you'll be drowned in debt tomorrow

Secret "Agent" Spam!
Secret "Agent" Spam!
It's stealing all your numbers,
And taking away your name!

( --- lead guitar purchased on YOUR credit card --- )

Secret "Agent" Spam!
Secret "Agent" Spam!
It's stealing all your numbers,
And taking away your name!

Shoppin' on an Internet site one day
And then payin' up your eBay tally next day
Oh no, you fell for pop-up schemes
While clicking persuasive screens
The odds are someone claims they're you tomorrow

Secret "Agent" Spam!
Secret "Agent" Spam!
It's stealing all your numbers,
And taking away your name!

( --- riff on guitar purchased with YOUR debit card --- )

Secret "Agent" Spam!

This song is as cute as it is scary. Nice tie in terms of spying and spamming in general, I can actually see this as part of a commercial. No wait! That might be considered spam. That would be a bit of irony though, a spam that advertises anti-spam. Anyway, the song is extremely catchy and stays in your head forever. Thanks a lot Johnny! ^-^

To paraphrase The Bard: the first thing we do, let's kill all the spammers. 5s.

Most people know the old Monty Python "Spam" bit. Listen to it again with the modern meaning in mind and it's even funnier.

The only good spam is when you get it on rye toast. If Popeye was a geek instead of a sailor do you think he'd say, "I spam what I spam and that's all I can spam"? Very nice word play and pace to the OS. Nicely done JD.

Great job humorously enlightening us, Johnny. I've read so many horror stories about identity theft, you hit the nail on the head!
